Ensuring that all children are provided with a safe, caring, stimulating and fun environment

Welcome to Rosebuds Nursery Ltd where our ethos is to ensure that all children are provided with a safe, caring, stimulating and fun environment.

We believe all children deserve the best start in life, therefore we aim to make sure that each and every child in our care is well looked after and we work closely with parents and carers to make sure this is a priority.

We are located in Hildersham which makes us the perfect location for surrounding villages and anybody travelling to or from Cambridge to Haverhill, we strive to provide the best in Early Years Education.

Our nursery is spacious, cozy and well-equipped with resources, books and toys. Our personal garden and car park ensure the children are safe at all times and away from busy areas.

Rooms

The Old Barn

From 3 months to 2 years

The Hayloft room has been designed to provide a nurturing and comfortable environment for our littlest members. Our staff are fully trained in safer sleep and working with babies. Each babies individual keyworker will work closely with parents to make sure they are providing as less disruption to daily routines as they possibly can, and to keep to sleep routines, nappy changes and feeds.

Our babies development will be tracked through a range of sensory activities, including music and sounds, lights, textures, bubbles, messy play and outdoor play. As well as a range of different activities, the children will have an opportunity for free play at various times throughout the day.

The Hayloft

From 2 years to 3 years

In The Old Barn room keyworkers will still work closely with parents to ensure routines are kept, and help with potty training should they need it. Toddlers will work on their day to day skills such as vocabulary, motor skills, eating with cutlery and creativity.

We will have a range of fun and exciting activities for our toddlers to participate in daily as well as free play and circle time. Toddlers will be able to explore our outdoor space every day, and have the chance to get stuck into some messy activities.

The Stables

From 3 years to 4 years

As a pre-schooler in The Stables room your child will work on their independence by doing things like helping to prepare their snacks, pour their own water, use child friendly scissors and put on their own shoes and coat. Pre-schoolers will also have access to the garden daily and participate in ventures such as gardening, free play and different P.E type activities.

By following the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, keyworkers will ensure all pre-schoolers are taking part in daily activities to expand their development and to help them feel confident when moving onto primary school.

About us

In April 2022 Rosebuds Childminding Service was established by our current director Jessica Broughton with just a handful of children in her home. The business then grew with Jessica employing 3 more members of staff to join her, opening up her home to more children. Since then Rosebuds has flourished and grown to become Rosebuds Nursery Ltd, a family run business by sisters Jessica Broughton and Becky Newman. We pride ourselves on providing a homely, and educational environment where the children are looked after like our own and provided with stimulating and enjoyable activities throughout the day.

We have a lovely garden area, which includes a climbing frame, ride on toys, a mud kitchen area and places for the children to plant and grow their own flowers, fruit and vegetables. We are an Ofsted registered nursery with an experienced team of dedicated staff, and we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, we believe strongly that play is an important factor in early education, therefore we make our days fun and exciting. We provide healthy and nutritious lunch time and tea time meals, as well as morning and afternoon snacks. We also have government funded sessions available, and tax free childcare sessions.

Meals

All of our meals are lovingly prepared, fresh and packed with the right nutrients children need to help them grow up healthy and strong. Our hot lunches and snacks are prepared freshly on site by a trained and experienced chef. With both our directors having food intolerances we are very knowledgeable about dietary requirements and cross contamination. Please let us know if your child has any intolerances or allergies and we make sure they are catered for! We also cater for vegetarian and vegan!

We believe a healthy and balanced diet is extremely important, therefore we like to offer a variety of different foods. Our menus roll on a 3 week rotation and are changed every 3 months.

Fees

Our fees will vary depending on what sessions you require

Our sessions range from early morning, half day and full day. Please contact the nursery on: 01223 320035 or email [email protected] for more information.

Alternatively, you can arrange a nursery tour where this information will be given. We have a number of ways you can reduce childcare costs including a 10% sibling discount, 10% off fees if you pay for a full time space and NHS discount. We also accept funded hours and tax free childcare.

Staff
